Another step towards bringing OpenOffice natively to the Mac

NeoOffice 2.1 has been released. The NeoOffice community considers this release a significant milestone, citing improved support for Intel machines and an enhanced Aqua interface.

Developed by Planamesa Software and a community of developers, the endeavor has been able to bring the feature-rich suite of office productivity of OpenOffice to Mac users without the need for the X11 environment. The package delivers compatibility across software vendor's file formats, and is available as a native executable for both PowerPC and Intel architectures.
