Squashes some bugs and gets ready for version 2

Snapz Pro X gets a new version. The picture and video capture software for Mac OS X from Rochester, New York based Ambrosia Software, Incorporated is a point point update (1.0.8 - 1.0.9) that includes several bug fixes. A detailed listing of the changes can be found at http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum70/HTML/000145.html.

The notable changes have fixed compatibility issues with Panther, fixed a problem where Snapz Pro X would freeze with certain machines or configurations, squashed a bug with multi-byte language support in Panther (ex. Japanese and Korean), and removed Internet version checking.

Ambrosia has also announced that they are currently developing version 2 of Snapz Pro X and has stated that this update will mark the end of the 1.0.x version. Screen captures of the beta version of 2.0 can be found at http://www.ambrosiasw.com/news/upcoming/spx2_betashots.html.

Ambrosia is offering users who's machines came bundled with Snapz Pro X a significant upgrade offer and can be found at https://secure.AmbrosiaSW.com/snapzprox/bundleup.html.
