Longtime Mac developer, Ambrosia Software, Incorporated has announced its newest release of Snapz Pro X 2.0, the company's desktop capture software. With this release the company is excited about the newest features the version brings. The biggest of which is the ability to take video of your computer's desktop, complete with digital sound as well as an optional microphone voice over.

In its press release this Tuesday the company said, "Think of it as a digital video camera for your screen. If a picture is worth a thousand words, imagine how priceless a movie would be for getting your point across." And we agree, especially when looking over the other features this version brings. In addition to a speed boost of what the company sees as a 20 time boost over its competition, Snapz Pro X 2.0 also has a newly arranged interface, the ability to export stills in a variety of formats (including Photoshop). It can also scale, crop, change the color depth, and dither screen captures. And it can add borders, generate thumbnails, and overlay watermark/copyright notices.
